IV Drip Therapy

Overview

Understanding IV Drip Therapy

IV vitamin therapy delivers vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system for full uptake. We offer bespoke IV blends tailored to specific goals (energy, immunity, recovery, glow), as well as dedicated NAD+ infusions for clients exploring longevity-focused wellness. All IV therapy is delivered by qualified clinical staff in a calm clinical setting — not at home or by non-medical providers.

Bespoke Blends

Formulations selected to your goal — energy, immunity, recovery, glow.

Clinically Supervised

Every IV is set up and monitored by a qualified clinician.

Honest Positioning

IV therapy supports wellbeing — it does not replace medical care or healthy basics.

Calm Setting

Comfortable private rooms; sessions are 30–60 minutes.

Who It's For

Is this category right for you?

The clients who benefit most from iv drip therapy typically share one or more of these goals.

  • Persistent fatigue or stress not explained by an underlying medical issue
  • Recovery after illness, jet lag, intense training or a heavy work period
  • Immunity support during winter, travel or high-stress periods
  • Skin glow as part of a broader skincare and wellness programme
  • Clients exploring NAD+ for longevity-focused wellbeing
  • Bridging support for clients whose oral absorption is limited

What IV therapy is — and isn't

IV vitamin therapy is wellness support, not medicine. For a generally healthy adult eating reasonably and sleeping properly, it is an adjunct: a way to top up specific nutrients, hydrate quickly, or deliver compounds (such as NAD+) that aren't well absorbed orally. It is not a treatment for an underlying medical condition, and it is not a substitute for the basics — sleep, nutrition, exercise, sun protection, and the treatment of any condition that deserves a GP referral.

We are uncomfortable with the way IV therapy has, at some clinics, been marketed as cure-all. We don't market it that way, and we will redirect rather than infuse where it is not in your interest.

Treatments we offer

  • IV vitamin drip — bespoke blends tailored to specific goals (energy, immunity, recovery, glow).
  • NAD+ IV drip — dedicated NAD+ infusion for longevity-focused wellness.
  • Skin glow drip — antioxidant- and hydration-focused blend used as part of skin programmes.

Specific ingredient lists, expected sensation, and pricing are on each individual treatment page.

How a session runs

A typical IV session at Aesthetic Clinique:

  1. Brief check-in — recent medical history, current medications, hydration, food intake.
  2. Cannula insertion — by a qualified clinician using sterile single-use equipment.
  3. Infusion — comfortable private chair, typically 30–60 minutes, longer for slow NAD+ infusions which are deliberately gentle to avoid the discomfort that fast infusions can cause.
  4. Aftercare — written advice on hydration, what to expect that evening and the next day.

Most clients return to normal activities straight afterwards. We recommend not booking a high-stress meeting straight after your first NAD+ session in case it isn't a perfectly serene experience.

Honest positioning on NAD+

NAD+ is interesting and the evidence base is developing. Some clients find a marked improvement in energy, focus and sleep over a course of infusions. Some don't. We offer it because it is a legitimate part of longevity-focused wellness, but we will not oversell its effects. If you are exploring NAD+, we will give you a balanced view at consultation.

FAQs

IV Drip Therapy — questions we are asked most

Are IV vitamin drips medically necessary?

For most healthy adults eating reasonably, IV vitamin therapy is wellness support rather than a clinical necessity. It can be useful when oral absorption is impaired, when targeted high-dose nutrients are needed, or as an adjunct to wider wellness goals — but it is not a substitute for diet, sleep and treatment of any underlying medical condition. We will say so honestly at consultation.

What is NAD+ and what does it do?

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme involved in cellular energy and DNA repair. Levels decline with age, and exogenous NAD+ infusion is used in longevity-focused wellness programmes for energy, focus and recovery support. The evidence base for clinically meaningful effects in healthy adults is still developing — we are honest about this rather than overclaiming.

Will IV therapy give me an immediate boost?

Many clients report feeling clearer and more energised the same day or within 24 hours, particularly with hydration-led blends after illness or travel. Effects vary by blend and individual, and not every session feels the same.

How often can I have IV therapy?

It varies. Single sessions are popular for jet lag, post-illness, pre-event or as an occasional reset. Course-based programmes (4–6 sessions over weeks) suit clients with specific goals such as immune building or recovery. We will not recommend more than is useful.

Are there risks?

Mild risks of any IV: bruising, site discomfort, transient nausea or flushing with certain ingredients (more common in fast NAD+ infusions). Allergic reactions are rare. We screen for relevant medical history at every appointment, set up infusions in a clinical setting, and monitor throughout.

Can I combine IV therapy with aesthetic treatment?

Yes — many clients combine an IV with their cosmetic appointment. Some treatments pair particularly well: glow drips alongside skin programmes, recovery blends after intensive training schedules, NAD+ as part of broader longevity care.
