What dermal filler can — and can't — do

Dermal filler is a tool for volume restoration and contour refinement. Used well, it softens age-related volume loss in the cheeks and temples, defines features such as the lips, chin and jawline, and balances small asymmetries. Used poorly — over-filled, badly placed, or repeated too often — it distorts proportions, migrates over time and ages the face rather than refreshing it.

The right candidate for filler is rarely the person who wants the most. It is the person whose specific concern is best matched to a small, precise, well-placed dose — and who is willing to wait, review, and add later if needed.

How we approach a filler treatment

Every filler plan at Aesthetic Clinique starts with a private consultation. We assess your face at rest and in animation, review your medical history, and discuss what you want to change. Where filler is the right tool, we plan the smallest effective treatment — sometimes a single area, sometimes none — and we always prefer to review and add rather than treat in maximum volume up front.

Before treatment we explain expected outcomes, downtime, common side effects and known risks in writing. You sign an informed-consent form for every treatment, and we follow strict protocols for skin antisepsis, single-use needles and clinical injection technique.

Common areas we treat

• Lip filler — definition, hydration and shape rather than volume.
• Cheek filler — restoring mid-face volume and supporting the lower face.
• Chin and jawline filler — defining the profile, projecting the chin, sharpening the jaw.
• Tear-trough filler — softening under-eye hollowing in suitable candidates.
• Nasolabial and marionette folds — softening static lines without flattening expression.
• Temple, perioral and neck-line filler — refined targeted work for specific concerns.
• Liquid rhinoplasty — non-surgical refinement of the nose for selected cases.

After your treatment

You will receive written aftercare instructions and a follow-up review (typically two weeks after treatment) where we assess settling and make minor adjustments if clinically appropriate, included in your fee. Hyaluronic-acid filler can be partially or fully dissolved with hyaluronidase at any point if you change your mind, with a separate consultation.
